APROXIMACIONES DIDÁCTICAS A LA ENSEÑANZA DE JÓVENES CON DEFICIENCIA VISUAL O INVIDENTES Y EL PROYECTO PROIVIS- XXI DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MACHALA (Original)

The aim of this article is to provide a didactic approach to the teaching of young people who are visually impaired or blind, for which, based on a methodological strategy in which methods that combine the quantumualitative paradigm with emphasis on Participant observation, interviews, questionnaires and a critical review of the bibliography consulted, we offer reflections, conceptualizations and theorizations as well as didactic proposals that can contribute to enrich the educational practices of this complex process, proving that social and digital inclusion is A key principle for the teaching of young people with visual impairment, a high expression that the school has the capacity to welcome in its bosom the diversity from its humanistic and pedagogical function.El objetivo del presente artículo consiste en lograr una aproximación didáctica a la enseñanza de jóvenes que presentan deficiencia visual o que son invidentes, para lo cual, a partir de una estrategia metodológica en la que prevalecieron métodos que combinan el paradigma cuanticualitativo, con énfasis en la observación participante, las entrevistas, cuestionarios y la revisión crítica de la bibliografía consultada, ofrecemos como resultados reflexiones, conceptualizaciones y teorizaciones, así como propuestas didácticas que pueden contribuir a enriquecer las prácticas educativas de este complejo proceso, evidenciando que la inclusión social y digital es un principio clave para la enseñanza de jóvenes con discapacidad visual, alta expresión de que la escuela tiene la capacidad de  acoger en su seno, la diversidad desde su función humanista y pedagógica

La formación de maestros en Historia a través de las tecnologías y el trabajo colaborativo

Esta investigación plantea una serie de experiencias en el ámbito de las Ciencias Sociales y, concretamente, en la enseñanza de la historia, a través de las cuales conoceremos diferentes herramientas que dirigen al futuro profesorado de Primaria hacia una nueva concepción de la didáctica de la historia, partiendo de la base de una enseñanza fundamentada en el método del historiador: el trabajo colaborativo, las fuentes y la investigación histórica. En este sentido nuestro objetivo principal es el de usar la innovación didáctica para apoyar el uso de la metodología investigativa en la enseñanza de la historia, de modo que consigamos un proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje realmente significativo para nuestro alumnado. Así se plantea el uso de diferentes recursos educativos como Photo Peach, Glogster, las rutinas de pensamiento o la producción literaria para alcanzar los objetivos propuestos en esta experiencia didáctica. Entre los resultados obtenidos en este proceso se observan avances en el uso de las fuentes históricas, un análisis crítico de las mismas, la llegada de acuerdos y consensos a la hora de exponer estos resultados investigativos y, por último, un modelo creativo de presentar sus investigaciones desde mapas mentales hasta cuentos infantiles pasando por la producción de vídeos

La enseñanza de la Historia a través de las tecnologías, la creatividad y el trabajo colaborativo

En el ámbito de la Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales, la enseñanza de la disciplina histórica, suele normalmente asociarse a un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje basado en el conductismo, por eso a través de esta investigación hemos llevado a cabo experiencias didácticas que ahondasen en la innovación educativa partiendo de la base de una enseñanza fundamentada en el método del historiador: la investigación, el trabajo cooperativo y el análisis de las fuentes históricas. Para desarrollar esta concepción en la enseñanza de la Historia hemos tenido en cuenta que el proceso se convirtiese en un elemento significativo de aprendizaje, de modo que los procedimientos se transformaban, gracias a la indagación, en un nuevo centro de interés para el alumnado. De ese modo hemos querido apostar por novedades metodológicas que implicasen el trabajo con las TIC, como los programas Photopeach o Glogster, el uso de las rutinas de pensamiento, para afianzar un aprendizaje crítico y reflexivo, así como la producción literaria para favorecer el uso de las fuentes históricas y al mismo tiempo trabajar la creatividad de nuestro alumnado. Towards a Sustainable Campus: Working Together to Achieve the Green Campus Flag on the UDC Peripheral Campus of Ferrol

[Abstract] Purpose. This paper aims to present and describe the main actions carried out in six different faculties and common areas such as cultural and research centres and administrative buildings in the Ferrol campus at the University of A Coruña to achieve the second green flag on a Galician University. Design/methodology/approach. A case study describing the steps for implementing a green campus programme in a medium-size, young university campus integrated into a small city. An Environmental Campus Committee was created to assess the main factors that affect environmental footprint, discuss sustainability initiatives and develop a guide to action regarding different goals related to sustainable transport options, energy, water conservation and waste reduction. The actions included several fields such as education, circular economy and healthy life and involved the on and off-campus community. Findings. The programme achieved a decrease in water consumption and electrical energy. An important change in educational values and behaviours regarding sustainability was observed in and out of the campus community. The measurements adopted mainly in waste management, mobility and education led the Ferrol campus to achieve a green campus flag on November 2019. Originality/value. Liver transcriptome profile in pigs with extreme phenotypes of intramuscular fatty acid composition

Abstract Background New advances in high-throughput technologies have allowed for the massive analysis of genomic data, providing new opportunities for the characterization of the transcriptome architectures. Recent studies in pigs have employed RNA-Seq to explore the transcriptome of different tissues in a reduced number of animals. The main goal of this study was the identification of differentially-expressed genes in the liver of Iberian x Landrace crossbred pigs showing extreme phenotypes for intramuscular fatty acid composition using RNA-Seq. Results The liver transcriptomes of two female groups (H and L) with phenotypically extreme intramuscular fatty acid composition were sequenced using RNA-Seq. A total of 146 and 180 unannotated protein-coding genes were identified in intergenic regions for the L and H groups, respectively. In addition, a range of 5.8 to 7.3% of repetitive elements was found, with SINEs being the most abundant elements. The expression in liver of 186 (L) and 270 (H) lncRNAs was also detected. The higher reproducibility of the RNA-Seq data was validated by RT-qPCR and porcine expression microarrays, therefore showing a strong correlation between RT-qPCR and RNA-Seq data (ranking from 0.79 to 0.96), as well as between microarrays and RNA-Seq (r=0.72). A differential expression analysis between H and L animals identified 55 genes differentially-expressed between groups. Pathways analysis revealed that these genes belong to biological functions, canonical pathways and three gene networks related to lipid and fatty acid metabolism. In concordance with the phenotypic classification, the pathways analysis inferred that linolenic and arachidonic acids metabolism was altered between extreme individuals. In addition, a connection was observed among the top three networks, hence suggesting that these genes are interconnected and play an important role in lipid and fatty acid metabolism. Conclusions In the present study RNA-Seq was used as a tool to explore the liver transcriptome of pigs with extreme phenotypes for intramuscular fatty acid composition. The differential gene expression analysis showed potential gene networks which affect lipid and fatty acid metabolism.
